My idea behind the iron clad images I have posted here is that their skin looks as if it were forged from steel or iron. It is the idea that women look soft but are actually quite strong and can withstand a great deal in this world. The extension of that in this particular image is that women should be the owners of their own destiny and sexuality. They hold their own keys; the hands represent the protection of self. Women in many societies dont hold that seemingly simple freedom.

Donna, Lovely feminine form...looks like it was cast in Pewter for a beautiful sculpture. F/L Jerry

I love the rings on the hands too. They really add the beautiful touch and a bit of an attention grabber.

This just flows so well. Such a duality with the sense of iron/metal and strength of a woman, yet the softness of a woman. Well done Donna! Very creative idea :)

love Muhamed's phrasing above, as it sums up this work so nicely. Art with a capital A, love the concept and the execution. Great work Donna, V/F

This reminds me of the old story about the time King Arthur left Camelot to go on the crusade to save the Holy Land. As a precaution he had Queen Genevieve fitted with a chastity belt and left the key with his trusted friend Lancelot. He was only about 20 miles from Camelot when his friend came after him on horseback. "Arthur," he called, "You gave me the wrong key!"
