Loneliness, like the shadows on the wall,they can be seen but not touched.
Silence, palpable, empty, still. Left only with empty clanging thoughts echoing repeatedly in the gray matter of nothing and no one there to care. Like the shadows on the wall, with you, but still alone, mocking in every move underlining the silence. Nothing heard, nothing spoken, just lonely.
